Another Lasting Memory from Kuala Lumpur

Hi everyone - Well this blog entry is less fun. My wallet got stolen tonite.

As I got to the train platform to go from dinner back to the hotel, I moved my wallet from my back pocket to my front pocket. I'm guessing I did a good job of showing a pickpocket exactly where my wallet was. What a crummy evening, and tomorrow will be fun too.

I spent most of the evening with the Kuala Lumpur police, at the train station, then at their central office (Polis Sentral). No good is expected to come from it, other than having paperwork to show whomever.

I lost my passport, my USA drivers license, credit cards, and some cash.

Between Tracy and me, we got all my accounts blocked quickly, and I have the basic plans in place to get the essential items replaced. Fortunately I had photocopies of everything with me, and Tracy had a copy also.

That's about it, I assume I'll be back to fun news next time out.
